The Radar Run
The Platteville Driftbusters Radar Run started in 2010 and has grown to become one of Wisconsin's premier radar runs. Taking place at THE BARn, the club uses this as a fundraiser to help improve our trails, but also as a great way to get together and have fun. Taking place on the last Saturday every January, the radar run is an annual event to look forward to.

The Track
The track for our radar run was just cut out of the clay and dirt in the summer of 2012. It runs for 1/8 of a mile with an unlimited shutdown. It is wide enough for two side by side racers as well as two speed tracks alongside them.
Snowmobilers start with their backs to the world's largest M and race towards Platteville. People enjoy standing alongside the fence and cheer on the participants to see who has the fastest sled, and who gets bragging rights for the next year.

Kids Racing
The Platteville Driftbusters always want to encourage the youth to get involved in club events, and that definately happens at the radar run. There were many kids on their mini snowmobiles, some more powerful than others, which made it down the track. We encourage any age to come and have fun safely at our annual radar run!

Extra excitement!!
YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT WE WILL COME UP WITH NEXT..
NEW THIS YEAR THE ENDURO COURSE!!!
PAST EVENTS:
WATER PIT
At our radar run, we are always trying to bring something new to the table. In the last couple years, our open water crossing has been very popular.
WHEELIE COMPETITION
See who could ride the longest wheelie or who could have the most people on a sled doing one. This was so much fun to watch.
MOGUL COURSE
Imagine drag racing over a track with jumps and bumps. Just like trail riding some late Saturday afternoon Northern trails. We saw some sleds get air that we never though possible on our track. What a show they put on.
